Summer Wine Classic Car Hire Ltd offers superb quality classic cars for self drive and chauffeured hire from its base in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. The company is owned and run by Richard Skelton and Loretta Catlow who also provide bed and breakfast accommodation to hirers from their home at Ash House, an imposing former mill owner's residence overlooking countryside on the edge of the town.
Our vehicles are available for day, weekend or weekly rental for touring holidays, or as a gift to celebrate special occasions such as a honeymoon, birthday, anniversary or retirement. Classic car hire can satisfy a long standing ambition or provide an opportunity to experience living with a coveted classic car before making the commitment to buy one.
The cars can also be hired with drivers for weddings, school proms, and corporate events and SWCCH is happy to consider inquiries about their availability for film and television work.
Holmfirth is famous as the location of the long-running BBC TV series Last Of The Summer Wine and is very much a Yorkshire town in character, yet it sits close to the border with the Derbyshire Peak District making it an ideal starting point for a touring holiday in either county, or as a base for exploring both regions.
Summer Wine Classic Car Hire Ltd is proud to be a member of the Historic and Classic Car Hirers' Guild (HCHG), Britain's longest established association of classic car hire companies. By their adherence to the guild's strict quality charter, members are committed to supplying the finest vehicles and maintaining the highest standards of service. |
