Millers Oils

The Historic and Classic Car Hirers' Guild

The MGB is Britain's all time best selling sports car. Good looking with lively performance and pleasant road manners, MGBs are characterful, great fun to drive and simple and straightforward to maintain. The model sold well from its launch in 1962 and throughout its astonishing 18 year production run.

A great car for exploring the great driving roads of the pennines and the Peak District, our tartan red 1964 MGB Roadster is easy to drive and its soft top can be taken down or put back up in a jiffy, so you completely perfect weather is not necessary to enjoy open topped motoring.

In recent years some would be MGB owners have opted to buy a Mazda MX5 instead of a vehicle sporting the Oxford Octagon, but perhaps they are missing out. The Japanese machine may be a modern classic and it might look like a 1960s Lotus Elan, but it can't match the charm of a proper period sports car. Driving a classic motor car is an involving and rewarding experience and a journey back in time. Nostalgia can be much more fun than keeping up to date!

Extensively restored in the 1990s, this car has been enthusiast owned and well looked after ever since. It features several upgrades including electronic ignition, servo brakes, overdrive and a chrome boot rack which is just perfect for carrying a picnic hamper. It drives beautifully.
