Summer Wine Classics' sensational signal red 4.2 litre Jaguar E-Type coupe was supplied new in January 1969 and is a superb example of this iconic sports car which was in production for 14 years. It remains many people's ambition to drive a Jaguar E-Type and what better time can there be for a man to realise that ambition than at his wedding?

Arriving in this Jaguar sports car is certainly a dramatic way for the groom and best man to arrive at the ceremony in style. And, for those who dare to be really different, it can be then be used by the groom to drive his new bride to the reception or away on honeymoon.

Alternatively, the car can be supplied with a driver. Although principally a two seater, our E-Type is a 2+2 model with occasional rear seats and as such it is a truly versatile wedding car. Children can be accommodated comfortably in the rear and adults can be carried there too if they don't mind it being a bit of a squeeze!

A remarkably original car, our 1969 Jaguar E-Type is one of three vehicles we bought from a lifelong Jaguar enthusiast and collector in the summer of 2008. It has had only four former owners from new and its full history is known to us.
